Summer reading assignment

The purpose of the summer reading program is to allow us to begin the year with a shared literary experience as well as to provide an opportunity for you to maintain your skills in reading and writing over those long summer months. This year’s whole class novel is George Orwell’s 1984. You will also select a novel from the list provided to be used for the research paper and a contemporary novel orginally published within the last three years.
